Koutsogiannopoulos Winery
Koutsogiannopoulos is one of its kind winery. Both the museum and the winery are run by the 4th generation of the Koutsoyannopoulos family!
At Koutsogiannopoulos it is aimed to share their passion for good wine and see that wine-making tradition continues for generations to come and you got to be sure that nobody knows better the history of Santorini wine and the life of the Santorini wine grower from Santorini Wine Museum Koutsoyannopoulos.
You will be able to taste at 6 different traditional wines raging from Assyrtiko, Fysalis, Nykteri, Red Selection of 2013, Kamaritis, and Vinsanto wine.
Argyros Winery
Estate Argyros has been established in 1903, but the Argyros family has been involved in wine production for decades before that. It is the largest private owner of vineyards in Santorini.
Estate Argyros is an artisan producer crafting small quantities of top-quality wines. The recipe in the cellar is that there is no recipe, with each plot being harvested, vinified, and aged separately until very late in the production process.
For all wine lovers, this tour offers a nice introduction to the indigenous grapes of Santorini and the story of Estate Argyros, featuring a selection of current vintage wines being able to taste 4 different wines accompanied by a small selection of local cheeses.
Gavalas Winery
Gavalas family winery, one of the oldest wineries in Santorini counting five generations of winemakers.
This family winery gives proper respect to the local varieties, focusing on limited production bottlings. Gavalas winery vinifies the most vibrant variety in Greece, Assyrtiko, as well as Aidani, Mandilaria and Mavrotragano. It is the only winery in Santorini that vinifies the indigenous rare varieties of Katsano and Voudomato.
You will be able to taste 4 different wines including: Posta (PGI Cyclades), Santorini (PDO Santorini), Xenoloo (PGI Cyclades), Vinsanto (PDO Santorini).
