Imerovigli in Santorini is a picturesque village situated in the center-west part of Santorini. Geographically, it comprises a continuation of Fira and is considered one of the most beautiful balconies of the Aegean. In fact, the name Imerovigli originates from the word vigla, which means “viewpoint”, since the location allowed villagers to see the pirate ships approaching during the old times.
